Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
First topic message reminder :
To allow time for you guys & gals to save beer tokens & build up enough Brownie points etc a date of Saturday 8th June has been decided for BC5.
As usual the ride will be centered around Shropshire & Wales & peeps are welcome to join for just the rideout or to B&B/camp for both the Friday & Saturday nights with food in the local hostelries which will be announced in due course.
B&B's are aplenty & most will take a booking in advance without requiring payment untill the weekend in question so its always a good idea to book early as last year it got very busy with a local wedding taking up some of the B&B's we normally use.
Below is a link to the main places to stay all within easy walking distance & please just ask if we can offer any help or advice, The Claremont also have as well as B&B a property which can be shared by a number of peeps who may wish to reduce costs by sharing & if I remember correctly a garage they have allowed us to use for the bikes in the past.
The Foxholes Camp site have a Bunk house, Static Caravan & Camping available.
Thanks Nick & Ellie

Anyone know of any B&B places left and does anyone fancy sharing a twin room?

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
If I have a bike in time I may try the Campsite.
I have found the bike I want and it's at a good price. Unfortunately I don't have cash, but I could take a gamble and put it on Zero as it's driving me nuts not having a bike, so my house goes up for sale on Monday and gettting a cheaper one!
One way or another I will have a bike - if I was younger and fitter I would have sold my body but I not.

Would that be to medical science?

Hmm
How much business did you get the last time you tried to do that John?

Even medical science has their standards
Seriously - I hope the house sale / finances all work out well and you get back on two asap
Cheers

If you do book at the campsite, put it in writing and keep a copy of your correspondence, not to be nasty but the woman who runs the place is a bit scatty.

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
Right I've decided to book the Bunhouse at £40 pn,
option 1 £10 a night if 4 or less stay there...
option 2 £6.67 a night if we use all 6 beds....
So under £15 for the 2 nights if we can get 6 staying for the two nights..
Please Pm me if your interested and I'll put your name on the list..
