Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
First topic message reminder :
To allow time for you guys & gals to save beer tokens & build up enough Brownie points etc a date of Saturday 8th June has been decided for BC5.
As usual the ride will be centered around Shropshire & Wales & peeps are welcome to join for just the rideout or to B&B/camp for both the Friday & Saturday nights with food in the local hostelries which will be announced in due course.
B&B's are aplenty & most will take a booking in advance without requiring payment untill the weekend in question so its always a good idea to book early as last year it got very busy with a local wedding taking up some of the B&B's we normally use.
Below is a link to the main places to stay all within easy walking distance & please just ask if we can offer any help or advice, The Claremont also have as well as B&B a property which can be shared by a number of peeps who may wish to reduce costs by sharing & if I remember correctly a garage they have allowed us to use for the bikes in the past.
The Foxholes Camp site have a Bunk house, Static Caravan & Camping available.
Thanks Nick & Ellie

I reckon it'll be closer to 9 degrees and the topless barmaid will be called Rose and speak with a dodgy Greek accent

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
Hello peeps.
Unfortunately I've only been given the go ahead for one trip over the border in June so I've decided to start it in May and go to the Alps instead.
Gonna have to behave myself long time to make the rest of the runs this year.
Mixed emotions :(
I'm sure you'll all have a great time @ BC ( I know I always have ) .....can somebody take some caption competition pictures for me please
Cheers
Rosco

It must be hard getting all the trips in when the SWMBO isn't involved.
Enjoy the Alps chaps & we'll have a beer or two for you!

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
I can't commit since I still have no bike, hopefully that can be sorted by WeeMac and I can join in.
Maybe you should send the Dice to someone who's going Ross.

Something that's cost lots of money, one or two headaches and a load of over time!!
And on top of that we're moving house this next week!

It's unlikely the route will be put up but the Meeting Point for the rideout is usually the Boars Head (in Bishops Castle) leaving about 8.30 - 9.00 Saturday. There is a Fuel Station opposite so you can fillup just before leaving.
Word of advice, fill up when you can even if it's a fiver. Reason: if there's a misshap, breakdown etc then it's possible the route may change and so may miss a fuel stop due to loss of time.
John.
