Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon

First topic message reminder :

To allow time for you guys & gals to save beer tokens & build up enough Brownie points etc a date of Saturday 8th June has been decided for BC5.


As usual the ride will be centered around Shropshire & Wales & peeps are welcome to join for just the rideout or to B&B/camp for both the Friday & Saturday nights with food in the local hostelries which will be announced in due course.

B&B's are aplenty & most will take a booking in advance without requiring payment untill the weekend in question so its always a good idea to book early as last year it got very busy with a local wedding taking up some of the B&B's we normally use.

Below is a link to the main places to stay all within easy walking distance & please just ask if we can offer any help or advice, The Claremont also have as well as B&B a property which can be shared by a number of peeps who may wish to reduce costs by sharing & if I remember correctly a garage they have allowed us to use for the bikes in the past.

The Foxholes Camp site have a Bunk house, Static Caravan & Camping available.

Yeah I did get a lift home. But under no circumstances am I using that taxi company again. Lol

Have a fantastic weekend everyone, weather looks brilliant and I have heard that this weekend and for one weekend only the cops are going to leave bikers alone and let them do whatever they want!! Stay safe and do lots of check ins so us that couldn't make it get even more jealous that we were before!

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend I'm sorry I couldn't be there this year I hope I can make next years one

My ploy to come in work early to finish early has worked but come at a price, there are major roadworks on the only road out of the one horse town where I work so getting away an hour early is likely to result in me getting home at about the same time as I normally would :(

Safe ride to everyone setting off before me and please don't drink the place dry before I arrive, I'm gonna have a thirst by the time I get there

ill be parched too, so save some beer for us! see you all later on. bikes 99% packed, just waiting for mrs to finish and steve to get sorted now
