First topic message reminder :

To allow time for you guys & gals to save beer tokens & build up enough Brownie points etc a date of Saturday 8th June has been decided for BC5.

As usual the ride will be centered around Shropshire & Wales & peeps are welcome to join for just the rideout or to B&B/camp for both the Friday & Saturday nights with food in the local hostelries which will be announced in due course.

B&B's are aplenty & most will take a booking in advance without requiring payment untill the weekend in question so its always a good idea to book early as last year it got very busy with a local wedding taking up some of the B&B's we normally use.

Below is a link to the main places to stay all within easy walking distance & please just ask if we can offer any help or advice, The Claremont also have as well as B&B a property which can be shared by a number of peeps who may wish to reduce costs by sharing & if I remember correctly a garage they have allowed us to use for the bikes in the past.

The Foxholes Camp site have a Bunk house, Static Caravan & Camping available.

Thanks Nick & Ellie

But Assen won last year ! . . . Surely it's BC's go this time ? . . . . Live people, Live Ride Out, Live PARTICIPATING action, . . . lunch . . . Wink commit to memory . . . for life.

You can . . . . Record Assen . . . watch it with FULL every corner coverage and commentary in warmth and comfort at home and on a comfy couch with as many beers as can be consumed before passing out happens . . . . then re-play it all again . . . save fuel . . . save hassle from frogin polite (dutch can't spell Police), save all that excess wear on tyres . . . queueing to get in, hamburgers that are really horseburgers (ah, no , thats here . . . bugger). . . . Frigate MAN !!!! You've done foreign . . . . now do just plain strange Shocked at home !!!

I'll just go and ask the wife to answer that question Wink
Seriously Assen is paid for which is obviously a clincher and I may have mentioned this already but my boss is being a bit of an arse when it comes to holidays, after Christmas I only get 15 days a year and he's now decided that I'm not allowed to take half days on a Friday so for every rally etc i go on where we set off at 3pm on a Friday, oh have to book a full day.

I still have to fit in a family holiday plus other commitments and I'm afraid I chopped the money tree I had down a few years ago. I'll be joining other ride outs later in the year and I'll be at BC, you'll just have to rely on others to provide beer fuelled entertainment Wink

The configuration of the cabin is
It has two bunkrooms, one double bedroom and a double sofa bed in livingroom
Whilst it can take 8 people, unless any folk are happy to share the double bed or sofa couch (it's OK we won't say anything) the limit is really 6.

The list so far. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anybody, or added someone whom I shouldn't have ..
