Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
First topic message reminder :
To allow time for you guys & gals to save beer tokens & build up enough Brownie points etc a date of Saturday 8th June has been decided for BC5.
As usual the ride will be centered around Shropshire & Wales & peeps are welcome to join for just the rideout or to B&B/camp for both the Friday & Saturday nights with food in the local hostelries which will be announced in due course.
B&B's are aplenty & most will take a booking in advance without requiring payment untill the weekend in question so its always a good idea to book early as last year it got very busy with a local wedding taking up some of the B&B's we normally use.
Below is a link to the main places to stay all within easy walking distance & please just ask if we can offer any help or advice, The Claremont also have as well as B&B a property which can be shared by a number of peeps who may wish to reduce costs by sharing & if I remember correctly a garage they have allowed us to use for the bikes in the past.
The Foxholes Camp site have a Bunk house, Static Caravan & Camping available.
Thanks Nick & Ellie

Lol, where DO your loyalties lye young man? Suppose we'd better drink the beer on your behalf then lol.
Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
I'll just go and ask the wife to answer that questionellie wrote:Who wears the trousers in your house Steve? Lol.
Seriously Assen is paid for which is obviously a clincher and I may have mentioned this already but my boss is being a bit of an arse when it comes to holidays, after Christmas I only get 15 days a year and he's now decided that I'm not allowed to take half days on a Friday so for every rally etc i go on where we set off at 3pm on a Friday, oh have to book a full day.
I still have to fit in a family holiday plus other commitments and I'm afraid I chopped the money tree I had down a few years ago. I'll be joining other ride outs later in the year and I'll be at BC, you'll just have to rely on others to provide beer fuelled entertainment

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
When last I was in contact with Steve, there was still room in the cabin.
But as you have indicated, always best to confirm.

Re: Bishops Castle 5 2013 - Enter the Dragon
The configuration of the cabin ismrfrance wrote: if Steve's is full
Whilst it can take 8 people, unless any folk are happy to share the double bed or sofa couch (it's OK we won't say anything) the limit is really 6.It has two bunkrooms, one double bedroom and a double sofa bed in livingroom
The list so far. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anybody, or added someone whom I shouldn't have ..
