My winter project.
First topic message reminder :
Hi I'm not sure if this is the place to do this but here goes. I bought my cat about a week ago and have enjoyed getting to grips with it
I'm going to hang on until the weather gets too bad to ride with confidence and then start the job of bringing the bike back to tip top condition :whoop:
I'll put some pics up once I have worked out how to get them off my phone
So keep checking and please comment if you think I'm going wrong anywhere.

though it looks freakin awesome dude
It still has not been polished, that's how it is just put back together, I now have to snag my work and correct as needed

Must admit she does look a bit on the sexy side.
If that doesn't make it onto Billy's exotic picture i'm a monkeys uncle.
Probably best to wait until it's properly clean though cos that's a few embarrassing blemishes on it
:lol3:

Re: My winter project.
£200 for front and rear disks... I'm liking the sound of that, but will do a bit of digging for more reviews.
Confucious say "Cheaper not always better", Confucious also say "cheaper not always mean bad"
He's a confusing fella is Confucious
I know one thing, they look the muts nuts and if they are good stoppers I might be in for a set

Re: My winter project.
Wondering if they are good for the BlackBird, mine have 63k on them and could do with changing.
I know they have a picture of them on a Busa but brakes are pretty important so I want to be sure before I go for it

Re: My winter project.
I was looking at them when replacing mine, had come across a few reports of them warping. Can't say if it was just a couple of people having 'unusual' problems or they are predisposed to the problem.
Wanted the wavys' but got an offer on EBC which I couldn't refuse.

They are the same style as the ones I was going to get. The ones they sent me (that were wrong) the quality was great I have the rear one on the bike now as that fitted ;0)
Re: My winter project.
So I have now learnt that all I needed was a 5ltr can of T-cut.. FFS I wish someone had told me in October.. :0)

. . . He missed the above.TomCom wrote:Pic please
If you mean pic 3 . . . . Hmmm . . . not to good an angle, but, sorry from that view thumbs down.
Re: My winter project.
Pic 3 The graphic is one of those marmite things, I'm not sure I like it but I wanted to put something on the bike that makes it a bit different. It looks better in the flesh, well I'm trying to convince myself that atm anyway ;0)
Re: My winter project.
Oh sorry wasn't looking at the graphic . . . which is ok btw.
I was looking at the rear light . . . . looks out of place from that angle.
But as you say . . . "In the flesh" is all, . . . sometimes pics don't do justice.

Re: My winter project.
The light fits and looks perfect. The only thing I've noticed is that there is no white light for the number plate :0(

Re: My winter project.
Very nice....job well done.
For number plate illumination I think you need a white light but I remember greencat and eddie990 had ninja's with a tiny white led that didn't actually light it up but was enough to be mot'able and road legal.
I'm sure they'll be along to clarify.
Cheers
