ToL 2011 Sign up

First topic message reminder :

Here's a list of those who've expressed interest or confirmed they will be joining the ToL this year. :whoop:
If you wish to be added to the list please post up in the main ToL thread.

This is the venue - the same as last year.
I have booked all 8 twin rooms for the Friday and Saturday nights. A deposit of £12.50 per person will secure a bed for the two nights, or £25 to secure a room. The full cost is £36 pppn B&B
Unfortunately if the you can't make it and I can't re-let the place then I won't be able to refund the deposit - venue rules I'm afraid.
That said, I hope places will be over-subscribed. If that happens I'll post up details of local B&B's - there are several. So far several are staying at The Claremont Guest House

Here is a link to camp sites in Woodhall Spa - Woodhall Country Park Camp Site is closest (next door) and being used by some members.

The venue has an excellent restaurant and they have provisionally booked us 16 places for each night. Please let me know if you want me to book you in for dinner. The place is popular so I will have to confirm numbers several weeks before and you will need to pre-order your food. Special diet options are available.

If there are any mistakes in the table below my apologies, but please let me know.

Even though I have the remnants of flu and a chest infection couldn't resist a ride out - Peterborough to Lincoln to Woodhall Spa and back!

Looks a lovely place, really looking forward to ToL now.

Now got my arm on a bag of frozen peas after slipping while putting it on the paddock stand, my bare arm fell on the exhaust! Got the pattern of the exhaust mounting bracket on my forearm now!

didn't know i you had missed it as I saw other people had paid a deposit so assumed you would be expecting some readies.

No worries then I will be patient and await to hear from you.

Arm is getting very sore and has bobbled up with blisters.:down: Still got the pattern of the exhaust mount - could be scared for life. If this proves to be the case I will have 'The Cat bit back!' tattooed underneath it!!!

yeah, its probably, at the most, a couple of miles, from memory, but I,m pretty sure theres no pavement or street lighting most of the way and after a long day on the bike we did'nt fancy the walk, took up valuable drinking time LOL. You have the option anyways Weasley.

Village Limits is about 1 mile walk from Claremont B&B, paths most of the way but it involves some walking on the side of the road with no path or lighting. Its quite a speedy road too so make sure your visible!

It is Lincolnshire and Taxi's etc need booking as its the back of beyond LOL

Put me down for the Sat ride only.

Unfortunately nothing is guaranteed any more as I now have a 14 week old little fella.

But if I build up enough good hubby points I will hopefully make it.

yeah thanks for that Ellie. Being a towny I could'nt beleive how hard it was to get a taxi last year! Definately a different way of life!

I paid a visit to the venue on Saturday for lunch I can still recommend the Steak and Ale pie (that's BigNige soreted then!) I've made provisional bookings in the restaurant for both nights. Exact numbers will need to be confirmed a couple of weeks before the event. Everyone will need to pre-select their menu choices so that the kitchen has a fighting chance of serving everyone in a reasonable time. I will post up the menu as soon as I get it. Those of you who are camping can join us for breakfast at the venue at a cost of £9.50 each.

Oh and they've had a face lift - not because of ToL 2010! It was scheduled anyway
If anyone else would like to join us please let me know as soon as possible. Better get on with sorting out a route
