Big Mac sign in
Back home. Left Terry, Paul and John around 1 pm.
Bike still playing up a bit and need to try and straighten the gear lever after the suicidal dog incident.
Thanks to Rosco and Jacarutu for organising another memorable Big Mac. Roll on next year!

Re: Big Mac sign in
Back safe too. Wandered round Portree (took 5 mins), then did last year's Big Mac route round Troternish to Uig (there's now a coffee/butty van at Quiraing (view point after Kilt Rock), relaxing ferry ride and gentle bimble back from Tarbert to Stornoway. Grand total of 550 miles. Could have done without getting called out as soon as I'd sat down with a coffee once I was back home though!
Great to see everyone again. Enjoy ToL, SnT and maybe see you all next year somewhere!

Back home safe and sound with Steve and Pam stopping over here too.
Fantastic Big Mac everyone. Big Thanks to Kev (Jacurutu) for giving us the tour of Harris/Lewis.
The craic was fantastic too......great laugh.
I managed 1107 miles since Friday morning......not too shabby a total and not one bit of motorway!
Thanks too to Davie for a spirited ride this morning in his back yard.
Was it the fact I was following you with a bill for £19?
You weren't the only one Furball......DBD owes me a fiver. Hope you enjoy your Iphone photos though
Are you saving up to buy a Collie sheepdog........they are expensive don't you know.
How come the Scotmen are the tight ones?
Heard back from James and Charlie....they got home ok.
Hope the knee gets better soon and the bike fixes up without too much cost.
Gutted for you both that you missed out on a great ride-out. Hope you can make another one in the future.
Left Pete (cards) and Rob'n'Linz at North Ballachulish and we went down the coast via Oban, Lochgoilhead and back in via Inveraray, Loch Lomond-side, Lennoxtown, Plains and back home.
Fantastic weather.......eventually.
Loved it.......can't wait till the next one.
Cheers
Rosco

Back to Worksop Safe and Sound
Rob and Linz signing in.
We got back to Worksop at 8.10pm after a total of 1457 miles since we set off on Thursday. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic weekend with brilliant company and can't wait to see people at TOL and others on other rides if not attending TOL.
We've both got very sore bums and I've been promised a LONG bum massage for doing all of the riding and controlling of the bike.
By the way, do I recall correctly that there was a mention of a numpty point award for Rosco due to him phoning Terry (Oldcat) instead of Terry Lees asking him where he was when we were looking for him in the pub .
Hope I get to have a re-match with Rosco sometime on Wii Mariokart at some point and thanks very much for your great hospitality on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Massive thanks to Kev and Ross for arranging an amazing ride out.
Going now for a shower so I can claim my bum massage from Linz .

Ahh Pete just as well we never got round to playing for money. Think I wouldve ended up skinter than I was after the Spanish tyre incident.

Re: Big Mac sign in
Steve and Pam signing in - back home about 9.30pm.
Lovely meeting old friends and new. Thanks to Ross and Kevin for the organisation and leading the rides along with Davie.
Thank you also to Ross and Tracey for your hospitality on Thursday and last night.
Have done about 2 200 miles, and managed to 'burn' the oil off the back tyre - actually managed to 'burn' most of the rubber off the edges as well. The leaky oil started again but not very much, guess must have been the last bit coming out.
