Wee Mac Sign Up

Hi All

Trying to gauge interest in Wee Mac II please people.
I am currently looking in to accommodation and may try and block book a guest house in Galashiels if that is what people want to do.
It appears be slightly off the beaten track (bit more security for the bikes).
They have single, twin, double and triple rooms I think.....I will confirm with them tomorrow. They seems to be about the cheapest I could find in the area and I'll try and get a block book discount.

I have sent them an email and will phone them tomorrow.

Can you respond if you are keen to take part as follows please?

Okay Dokay peeps.

I've made a booking (starter for 10) - well 6 actually.

Booked HERE Binnie Myre Guest House ....... and I think it is the :bounce: bogs dollocks :bounce: by the sounds of it.

It has a 42 inch plasma :cheers:
12' snooker table :whoop:
Fridge (for beers)

£30 pppn and full scottish breakfast.

As I said I've booked and paid deposit for a (6 single bed) room and so far ME, Greencat, Eddie990 & Terry have indicated they want one of these beds which leaves two left at the moment.

When I phoned they said they still had a TWIN room and a family room left although they expect that they may have another room vacated by that time.
A quick scour of prices around suggests that this is a really good deal so snap it while you can.

When I phoned and spoke to Bill he advised they had the goldwings from Belgium/Holland last year and the car park was full of about 20 bikes.

If you phone just say you are part of the motorbike group.

It is a 10 min walk from the centre of Galashiels.

I've just booked the twin room for us, Terry didn't fancy a room of 6 after the wee one we got in Fort William.
So 4 still available in yours, guesthouse sounds really good.

That guest house looks the dogs. The price is fantastic for what you're getting. I won't be making this one either as I'm on another ride/meet that weekend heading to Durham for the 1st night.

Krusty - There may still be space (TWIN) at the Binnie Myre Guest House for you and your mate. They did say the 6-man room was huge so they might be able to fit another bed in there.
If it turns out your mate can't make it then you can have the 6th space in the 6 man (if it hasn't already gone by then)

Rob and Linz, signing in.

We'll be up on the friday afternoon, as its half term. Will be there for the ride out with our beloved conrads on the sat. Does you want me to bring English weather or is the Scotish one O.K at that time of year?? Not that i'd bank on our weather being much cop anyway......

Will book our accommadation soon in a B&B, just need to find a safe place for the bike to sit, stay and behave while we are asleep.

Anyway, Hope the roads are as dry on the day as they were today...some cracking roads...accommodation looks very nice..although for those in the 6 man room.....bring some chalk!!
Watch out for a dodgy corner...and Rosco's "spirited" overtaking manouvers..
Gutted i cant make it as the route takes in some superb roads..
Suzie, the lunch time stop will not disappoint..not the cheapest but a really nice gaff..
Me and Rosco got our pictures taken with an all american beauty at the lunch stop restaurant...Pics are on his camera!
300 odd miles in today from my house and back and still grinning at the twisties on the route..
Great way to start the season...enjoy!!

Booked up at the Binnie guest house now, in an attic apparently so will prob be with the cold water tank and the insulation for the house, aswell as a couple of pigeons prob.

Glad to see the weather is finally picking up aswell. Will be on the road just after 2 on the riday for the 200 mile stint up yee North.

Just hope that my interom comes back fixed in time otherwise i'll be nudged, flicked, prodded if Linz has something to say on the way.

Bag packed, pigs fed (well dogs!) and ready to fly tomorrow morning up the A1 hopefully i'll not get lost

I'm really looking forward to this now! I plan to spend tomorrow fitting "the most awkward exhaust in Britain" then heading south to Gala...

And I may have a good friend along too, Bike Mike, who will just join us for the ride on Saturday but that is TBC.
