Hi ,
Home safe and sound. 400 miles covered in all Bet that gets beaten easily by some.
Thanks to Chris for the weekend the whole ToL experience was fantastic.
Stories and photies to follow (on Mevsy's "Big Thanks" thread). . . . . . oh and maybe the odd numpty point

Re: ToL Sign In
Got back yesterday evening after ducking out slightly early, covered a bit over the 400 mile mark but every one of those was with a smile.
Think I know where two of the numpty points go....

Re: ToL Sign In
Yep - I also had a great day, really enjoyed the ride and lunch was spot on too
Thanks for organising again Chris - believe me it is appreaciated.
Sorry once again I couldn't stay over and join in the pub session, particularly as this meant I wasn't able to ask our official filmographer how he managed to overtake 15 bikes in a ford focus without us noticing.
Thanks again.
Ps maybe the route will be provided laminated next year

Re: ToL Sign In
Hi Everyone,
Back home, fed and watered, bike cleaned and put to bed, me next.
Unbelieveably tired, but I've had a fantastic weekend
Thanks to everyone who attended and really good to hear you've had fun too.
No mishaps during the run and everyone home safely I hope.
Have much more to say, pics to post etc, but not tonight.
Just a quick thank you to BigNige, Mechy, Suzie and Ian for helping out - couldn't have done it without you. And to Martin and Abi great to have you with us and hope you'll make it out again sometime.
Nite nite,
Chris

Re: ToL Sign In
I got home around 3:30 this afternoon after a nice, soothing ride home.
What a(nother) great weekend - good roads, great company and some good weather to boot! Once again people arrived from all over the country, and the neighbouring country, to ride, drink, eat and chat and did all four in good humour and with some gusto.
Thanks Chris, Suzy, Nige and Ellie for the curry organisation/collection - don't I owe someone something?
Thanks Chris for the overall organisation and to Nige and Pete for the recce that made the route what it was (mostly!).
Thanks Pete for the lifts to and from the hotel - you're a diamond.
I could go on, but basically thanks to all involved - you know who you are and what you did!
I ended up at around 660 miles door-to-door and, once again, the Cat purred to perfection all the way. I have seen off the rear tyre now though, so had better get that sorted before the next ToL.

Re: ToL Sign In
I'm home everyone
Sorry i never got to say goodbye to anyone (apart from those that left us at Belton) but i spent Saturday evening engaged in trunk calls from 7 to 1130pm and am still feeling a tad delicate now. Least i had my own personal nurse - cheers Ellie (and apologies to you and Nige and his OH) if the extremely loud flush on the loo woke you up during the night!!!
Anyway, apart from that (blame the Spawn... kids, who'd ave em, i suppose it's my fault for being a concerned mother) i had a bloody good time - i was only at the back once i must be improving!!!!
Suzie x
