Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
First topic message reminder :
BC3 is scheduled this year for Sat 18th June, As usual the weekend will start on Fri (17th) with a few light refreshments & I will be making arrangements in the near future for the meals on both nights for those who wish to join us. Anyone wanting to do just the ride on the Sat will be welcome too
The ride will once again be centred on Wales with a new route heading further North this time into the beautiful Snowdonia mountains.
Everyone is most welcome & accomodation is readily available with a quick google search among Bishops Castles many B&B's
Radar & I will be finalising details over a pint in the next few weeks
Many thanks for your attendance on the previous BC rides which have had a fantastic atmosphere due to the superb members on here.
Any questions please feel free to ask
Nick & Ellie

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
I'm assuming your talking about meeting on the Friday (as you're booked for the whole weekend) morning for the ride down?
Anyone meeting to travel down just for the Saturday Rideout? I'm near Stoke on Trent.
If not, then what time and where is everyone meeting for the actual rideout?

We will be meeting outside the Boars Head pub in the centre of BC at 8.30am, The plan is for everyone to be fuelled up & there just happens to be a petrol station opposite the pub

I know I'm a bit late mentioning this Nick. But. Emmm I need fuel every 100 miles. Hope your planned fuel stops are within that mileage.

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
I did PM Nick with the same request, but I guess I'll have to be more subtle
I need fuel every 100 miles - change the fuel stops accordingly
Should work unless he's colour blind - in which case he's on his own at traffic lights

I get this nonsense at every Wee Mac & Big Mac.
We should really force them to bungee a bright green 5 litre can to their ducati's and bring their street cred down a little

Tortoise & the Hare spring to mind on this one,
An F1 style fuel pitstop might suffice for the 'toy boys' though

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
Now you're talking! That's what I call organisation.
So I just ride-up, there's someone waiting to fill the tank, someone to mop me brow and a brolly dolly (this is Wales!). I presume I don't have to pay either and when it's all done I just speed off....
.... to catch the smug bar-stewards on the Thundercats who don't have to stop!
Re the PM..... I can't find it either :rite:

It's OK Pete, while the rocket riders who are 'less endowed' in that area fuel up, Nicks recce'd in a few mins at the local lap-dancing club while you wait, so you'll be ok!!

Hey, speak for yourself Dave. What happens in Wales stays in Wales!
Sport? It'll be like shooting fish in a barrel
So, there's me set up for a fall
