Have fun everyone and keep safe! I've got all fingers, toes and eyes crossed that the weather plays nice for you. If it doesn't, just think about that pub and food waiting for you at the end of it all!

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
BC was fantastic! Weather was a bit temperamental but we saw many nice dry roads!! (Think I almost got a tan at one point whilst sleeping outside the cafe) Absolutely beautiful scenery, great group of people to be riding with.
Was my first big ride out on the cat (on a 600!) couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to be riding with... Very well lead by Nick and a very patient tail end charlie Steve and Tel. So thanks guys for making the ride out safe and enjoyable.
I would love to join in on more of these (family permitting). I will never make the mistake of carrying a backpack next time as had a painful ride up to Wales and home (400miles) will invest in a tail pack I think!
Most of all I learnt about myself as a rider! What can I say I love my brakes! s*** myself on some the dropping twisties, went in a bit hot at 60+ and came out about 20 and shaking!! Tried to play ball with the Ducatis on the straight but I think they were just toying with me! Those riders are nuts! but very skillful I have to say.
Once again thanks to everyone for making the trip worthwhile and making an effort with me socially as the newbie! A very warm and welcoming group. Hope to see you all again!
(Look forward to the pics)

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who organised the ride out and everyone involved in the day.
I had a great time, everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The Ride out itself was very well organised with a GREAT route and catered for everyone's riding style and enjoyment.
I personally had some great fun on the higher speed twisty's even with a flat front tyre (wondered why she was wallowing a bit) and really appreciate even more what a great bike the cat is.
Sorry we had to dive off before the return to BC, Dave had promised to cook for his missus (a sweetener for letting him come along so soon after returning from the TT) but we had a fun ride home too
I will definitely be coming on more of these.
Bryan

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
Hi All,
Thanks for another fantastic weekend as usual. Unfortunately Rob couldn't enjoy it as much as hoped but I would like to thank Rosco for putting up with me as his pillion all day.
It really was another fabulous weekend and was nice to see some regulars and meet some new people from the site and we're already looking forward to Big Mac (on the bike hopefully if Rob's back permits it).
Our guests/visitors for the weekend were superb and hope the camping was OK for them too.
Hope everyone is home safe and sound and thanks again to everyone who organised the weekend.
Linz and Rob
Ps. We got home at 1.30 and for some reason we were both in need of a 2 hour sleep

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
right, fed, watered and just opened a bottle of red....soooo ill get the thank you's out of the way first!
Thank you Nick,Ellie and Tony for a perfectly organised weekend.
Thank you Rob and Linz for putting up with Rosco and me over the weekend, perfect hosts and obviously professional campers. The bacon rolls were superb too!!
Thank you Greencat for entrusting me with a go on your stunning new Bike.
Was great to see some old friends and to make some new ones.
Nick , ill swear your thundercat has a thunderace/r1 block behind those farings, the little blat at the end was a perfect end to a perfect day!(apart from the mysterious vanishing bike).
Well done to those who joined us with very little or no previous group riding experience, some of the weather we had at times was making the roads very slippy and very daunting.
Great to see you back on the bike Tel, hope you and Robcat are both on the bikes for Big Mac in a few weeks.
And lastly well done to Mechy for taking the Ducati pincer movment and overtake in good humour
Think thats about it, looking forward to the pics and will def be making every effort to do BC4..
Tel.....this is for you-------->
And Ellie........Go on get it bought!
