Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
BC3 is scheduled this year for Sat 18th June, As usual the weekend will start on Fri (17th) with a few light refreshments & I will be making arrangements in the near future for the meals on both nights for those who wish to join us. Anyone wanting to do just the ride on the Sat will be welcome too
The ride will once again be centred on Wales with a new route heading further North this time into the beautiful Snowdonia mountains.
Everyone is most welcome & accomodation is readily available with a quick google search among Bishops Castles many B&B's
Radar & I will be finalising details over a pint in the next few weeks
Many thanks for your attendance on the previous BC rides which have had a fantastic atmosphere due to the superb members on here.
Any questions please feel free to ask
Nick & Ellie

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
You've got a lot to live up to with the weather ya knows....the last 2 years being 25 degrees+
Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
At the moment its looking like we have pretty much fully booked The Pink Palace (Sorry I mean The Boars Head's) rooms & one or two are staying at the Claremont which also has plenty of off road parking & is also ideally situated for the Three Tuns.
June seems to be quite a bit busier than the usual May date in BC with the B&B's so it might be worth making tentative enquiries if interested.
Most are happy to charge just a small deposit or no payment at all until the weekend in question.
Lets hope BC is prepared lol

I like the sound of this. Have driven some of those roads and wondered what it would be like on a bike... I'll be there.

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
I've just been looking at the ride from my house (Stafford)to Bishops castle on Goolge Earth and It looks like that'll be a lovely trip out by itself . I had a trip out through Snowdonia by myself last year and was blown away, so I'd love to come with you guys this year (work and family permitting), if that'd be OK with you?

Re: Bishops Castle 3, 18th June 2011
Booked in the Old Brick Guest House. There are still rooms available there if anyone is looking.
Even so we are tentative, my Dad has changed his UK trip from August to June and as yet I don't know his travel dates. Significant birthdays for him and my brother (80 & 50), so not going to be able to 'sneak away' for a couple of days if it does clash :(
