Re: 6 October ?
6th might be a possible date for me to book 'off' of work for the day.
I'll chuck this into the Yamaha Thundercat Group on Facebook to see if we can get a few more 'Cats along.

Re: 6 October ?
Looks like we have something like a quorum for the 6th Oct, so we'll go with that.
Start and finish at Burford. Rest of route t.b.a.

That's a shame Steve. I'll post up when I'll be doing a recce ride so maybe you'll be able to come along then.

Re: 6 October ?
Only 11 days to go now. Route now planned and (mostly) recce'd.
To allow for 'day trippers' I'm planning to meet at 09:30 for a 10:00 departure. Anyone wanting to join or leave part way, please let me know so we don't miss you. Also let me know if you're planning to stay over at or near Burford so I can join you for a pint.
Start and finish at Starbucks on the A40 roundabout at Burford - OX18 4JF (next to Travelodge)
Morning stop at AV8 café, Kemble airfield (where we couldn't get served last year because the water supply was off) - GL7 6BA
Lunch at the Flag & Whistle café, Toddington station on the preserved railway line - GL54 5DT
Afternoon stop at Wyatt's farm shop, near Great Rollright, north of Chipping Norton - OX7 5SH
Please post here if you're (still) planning to come - thanks.

Re: 6 October ?
I’m still a goer. Probably a day tripper, starting at Burford. I can tail-end if needed.

Re: 6 October ?
Sorry Bob,
I'm afraid I'm having to drop out, making me a non-starter.
Apologies and best regards

Still hoping to make this, although I will be on the Duke rather the cat

Dukes are fine, the Cotswolds are full of the nobility so you won't stand out.

Run postponed until 2019
At the moment we seem to have just a couple of people planning to come along. Add to that the fact that the weather that's now forecast for Saturday is cold and wet, so I've decided to save this run for next year.
Hopefully no-one has strong objections to that?

Re: 6 October ?
That’s a shame, but this is an easy one for me to get to whenever it happens so I’ll go with the flow.

Re: 6 October ?
I'm sorry there has been very little uptake. I didn't help by not being able to attend.
In a really rare moment Pam agreed to go on the bike for an extended weekend break to North Somerset, it was good. My SatNav had a sense of humour which I did not agree with, thought it was OK to go green laning. The bike is filthy, one day I'll clean it - but for now that's the last trip for the foreseeable future.
