ToL XIII check-in
Back home, dry and safe. Lots of police activity around Silverstone but I think I missed them all. Another great weekend, even the weather couldn't dampen spirits - everything dries out and the afternoon spent chatting, playing snooker and generally laughing was a nice bonus.
Now the 14 day wait to see if we got caught by that speed trap...

Re: ToL XIII check-in
Got back about half an hour ago, yeah I'll also be watching the letter box too - might have a lovely pic of me on the M25 as well About 10 Ride Safe coppers taking their victims out kept me from doing dodgy over takes near home
Good ride back, stopped for a leg stretch as I was joining the A1, a hired mini bus full of stag revelers parked next to me, the usual sillyness 'Honk if you horny' sign in the back window and the stag had a strap on set of boobs with a sign 'but not me luv', poor sod

Re: ToL XIII check-in
Back home safe, sound and dry. Great ride back with a quick stop at cmc cannock to drool over new bikes. But TT called me back to reality.
What a great weekend. The company make these weekends such great fun that even some rain can't dampen the spirits.
Thank you chris and pete for yet another wonderful time.
Here's to next year's.

Ewan and I arrived home just before 2.30 and Rob was back before us. It was a lovely weekend and great to catch up with everyone.
Already looking forward to the next ride out social gatherings we can attend. Take care everyone.

Back home safe & sound after calling in to see the child and her new married home.
Great weekend, great company, great roads

Re: ToL XIII check-in
Back home at around lunchtime, after a nice run back via the A16.
Another excellent weekend with great folks and copious amounts of alcohol and food. Damp weather certainly didn't dampen spirits.
And the low-level Lancaster flypast at breakfast this morning topped it all of nicely.
Looking forward to 2017 already!

I've just had a look at my video (Although it's a bit fuzzy due to the rain).
As me and Chris come round the corner where the van first comes in to sight, my speedo seems to show around 70, and after that we both backed off. There's also a silver car coming the other way as we round the corner, which may hopefully have obscured his view for a short while.
Keeping my fingers crossed, but hopefully as speedos should over read a little, if I do get one, I'm hopeful it'll be in the "Speed Awareness Course" zone, not the "Bend over for the Magistrates" zone.....
Re: ToL XIII check-in
Well, since I was behind you perhaps the rest of the bikes and I (plus a large swathe of North Lincolnshire) was obscured by your Panzer?!
Nice to know it wasn't warp speed though.

Re: ToL XIII check-in
Oh, joy! Can't wait for the post these days. Will rather take the shine off the weekend if it happens.
Still, it was a cracking weekend. Thanks to all who attended for making it 'such fun'
Already provisionally booked for next year. FYI 1st - 3rd Sept. Details to be confirmed early in the New Year.

Still keeping an eye on my postbox, so far cobwebs and the odd pizza/takeaway glossy, lets hope it stays that way

Re: ToL XIII check-in
I'm still 'smart'ing at the fact I chose to follow the Sat-Nav and turn off rather than do that lovely road and hear the AMG popping behind me, it was such a great weekend and in a rare moment in which I was up for it

If the road was traffic free it 'may' have been popping infront of you Steve

That's car vs bike fighting talk Nick...... Must be an arse deciding which weapon of choice you'd want to be in/on when the weather is sunny outside.

It's just one of the many reasons I've done less miles on the bike this year, saying that traffic is more frustrating on four wheels

Re: ToL XIII check-in
So it's now 14 days. Can I stop staring at the letterbox in case of a threatening brown envelope....?
Re: ToL XIII check-in
I'd still check the letter box, you never know you could receive a cheque from someone probably an idea to keep an eye out for circling helicopters - just in case, or does that only happen in my area
The spiders are still having a ball in mine, seems even the banks have stopped spamming me. Just wish those arthropods would stop spinning their fly traps on my bike.

The black ones? I've got used to the sound of them hovering over by now, they're there that often....
