BC 8 - The Welsh Beast 10th-12th June 2016.

Hi Folks,

It's that time of year again, to pencil in the BC dates for 2016.

This year we have secured all 19 beds at a lovely Motorcycle orientated B&B called Bikers retreat in Dolgellau, Mid Wales, run by Nigel & Tiv, two fellow bikers. It's a place I have been considering for the last couple of years.

The beds range from £39 - £45 per person per night B&B for doubles, twins and triples (all en-suite) and one single with a private bathroom.

Deposit is paid direct to the B&B and is £30 per person, the phone number is 01341 423192, please mention Nick Shuker as it's booked in my name.

There is a bar with local beer and lagers and a bar menu, I will be visiting over the winter to establish what's best for the group with eating arrangements.

There is secure bike parking behind gates, a drying room for wet gear, and a workshop with tools and Nigel is very helpful and knowledgeable apparently.

There will be other accommodation available in the area, if required.

Sadly for me Nick the dates clash with a previously planned, paid and booked event.
I just know I'm going to be missing a doozie of a BC here. Especially with the exclusive digs.

I'm booked in too, I think they said only 1 room left!

Not unless some others have rung him today Steve, I spoke to him last night & there are 12 beds taken with yourself included, I may not be up to date on today's bookings yet though?

I rang them today Nick, what may have happened is they have booked single occupancy in twin rooms, not sure.

It's a free for all for bed sharing Nigel tells me
They have the main building & a large annexe & im guessing they may have said only one room remaining in the main building?

I've already got a twin booked with DBD.
While you'd think that means I'm ahead of the curve he farts and snores like the best(worst) of them so I'm in the same noisy smelly boat as everyone else.

Apart from the highest of numbers on the rectum scale and the oral eruptions of digestive gases I'll sure we'll enjoy each others company.
