BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
Just to start it off . . . THIS THREAD HAS BEEN RE-NAMED
Bwystfil Cymraeg..... The Welsh Beast hosted by Llandudno in 2015 will still be known as BC7 for the sake of continuity

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
I think we should just do a reverse BC ride and end up there instead of starting there, when we arrive we could become 80's style stereotypical motorcycle riders, go round beating up the men, terrorising the women and setting fire to all the buildings, culminating in a square off in the Boars Head where Nick and the landlord square up for the final battle, it'll be fun!!
P.S the above is a joke!!

A joke????
I thought it was a good idea lol, problem is most of BC residents feel the same as myself right now so I should win on support alone

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
I put the "joke disclaimer" in just in case by coincidence BC happened to be torched by 80's TV hells Angels and subsequent investigations turned up this post.robertcains wrote:A joke????

I'm not surprised the residents are behind you Nick, this is a blow to the local economy but hey ho, their loss is our gain and Llandudno, it'll be nice to freshen things up in a new town

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
No idea what that means Paul but I think you might possibly have read my mind
As far as The Boars is concerned BC doesn't need any input from me, It seems they have alienated themselves along time before they did this. Their reviews on Tripadvisor (especially Darren's replies) make you realise how arrogantly they run their business, it's all in the past for me now & I've left my own review (please feel free to vent your own lol) BC has held some fantastic memories & I'm hoping any future venues will do the same thanks to great friends.

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
I'm coincidentally working on a new name with the initials BC in Welsh, Cymru is definately favourite for the second word.....
Very good proposal Paul...
All ideas will be appreciated

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
One thing I learnt about Welsh is that the first letter of some words changes dependent on what word it follows. Â Hence Blas ar Gymru, apparently. Â However, "taste Wales" translates to blaswych Cymru, if that helps?!

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
Apologies, just read through! ...I'm shocked!!
I'll still be coming of course and hope I can obtain one of the 20 eating places. I better get researching the accommodation... I should probably sort out a bike too!

Re: BC-7 - The Welsh Beast
I think all those that had accommodation already booked have now rebooked rooms at the new venue, they of course will have a place in the restaurant on Sat, as people confirm their accommodation booking I shall give them priority, first come first served.
There are other options if the numbers go over 20 such as the Wetherspoons next door which we will be using on the Friday evening.
