Would of been a nice day together just before Linz and co go to Lanzarote during half term.

Bike is all prepared and the tyres would of lasted nicely for this run before getting a new set fitted.

Me too! Sitting here at m'PC, looking at the sun that has chased away yesterday's rain, waiting for clocking-off time so I can get going. Still need to actually load my stuff on the bike, but it is all ready to be packed. Sat-nav is programmed, all systems are go...

Sadly as I'll be leaving later and it's a fair distance, I'm planning to blast up the motorway for most of it, just to cover the ground quickly. Planning A34 > M40 > M42 > M6 > M54 > A41 > A55. Hopefully I can have a more leisurely ride home on Sunday.

See you around 7-ish I hope!

Having a slow "get ready" for a change instead of manic, last minute, end up forgetting something I usually do, just found a balaclava I thought I'd lost packing up last time, few bike checks, leisurely pack and wander over to Wales, just need to rely on a bit of good luck getting my boot over a dodgy swollen ankle.
