Parking Ticket Help!
Evening Folks,
I went to Liverpool maritime museum at the weekend, lovely day out if you've not been!
Anyhow, I went for some food in the evening and went to a pub in town. I parked my Cat in a pay and display area next to the road, I've tried to draw an example below. There were no bike racks anywhere else and there was more than enough space for about 10 more cars.
I got a ticket for "23- Parked in a parking place or area that is not designated for that class of vehicle".
I had a ticket, the ticket lasted until 17:30 and was booked at 17:17 so I was within my time. After closer inspection, there was some small writing on the pay machine that I didn't notice when paying for the ticket saying NO MOTORCYCLES, but it is by no stretch easy to see! I also didn't have my readers on!
My question is, I plan to appeal, but what do you think is the best way out of this? Has anyone had any experience of similar things in the past?
Thanks for the help and find the diagram below!

Re: Parking Ticket Help!
I've never bought a ticket for my bike, some bastard would just nick it and stick it in their car.
