Kill Switch ? is it set to run ? . . . . Trust me, you wouldn't be the first, and you'll not be the last to be foxed by that old chestnut scratch

Other than that. When was the last time she was running ? If longer than 4 to 6 weeks , could be stale fuel, crap in the carbs ?

Have you tried cursing at her fuming . . . . or the promise of a saucy weekend away . . . just the two of you naughty

If you're smelling fuel, turn the choke to off, leave the throttle alone (make sure the kill switch is set to run), and press the starter button ~ spin her till she catches - and like a boy scout with a tinder fire - tickle her gently into life.

beyond that I'd be onto kicking and screaming ! Not pretty.

Let us know what happens.

Could be.

Lift the side stand and pull the clutch, and then try to fire it up.

Could be a number of things, Check the bike is in nuetral, check the kill switch is down, I had a sticky one that you had to tap down or it wouldnt start. You are getting fuel through by the sounds of it. Are you getting spark? How long ago did it last start up? Is your battery ok? The bike will need 12v to start and if battery is holding a charge lower than 11v it porb wont start. Check your spark plugs for spark. Take off all plug caps (remember the order they came off) take out 1st spark plug push into correct plug cap, hold against the frame (keeping yourself clear of the frame and plug spark) and hit the starter. If there is a decent blue spark move onto the next. Repeat for all four. Check gaps and condition of spark plugs as well. If you are getting a strong smell of fuel then it could be flooded which will also make your spark plugs wet.
