bugger where do I start??????
as previously mentioned in one of my post.
the bike started to let say missed a couple of beat as if fuel is running out.
it did this 3 or 4 times in the 21 miles run back home.
I thought maybe carbs not balance etc.
anyway I got her out to start her up... would not fire up after 3 goes??
ah lifted the side stand up she fired up,put the side stand back down ...she still runs mmm strange?
she wouldn't tick over till I put the choke fully on(cold engine).
ticking over nicely ...slowing turning the throttle up she would be OK for a few second and then cut out. she did this 2 or 3 times.
when running she sounded OK no rattles etc so nothing wrong in that department.
so me thinking the problem lies in the carbs am I right??
any suggestions!!

It does sound like fuel. If it was on the sparky side you'd not expect it to be afected by throttle or choke as yuo describe.
My bet woud be on something, probably dirt, partially blocking up the system somewhere, either the jets in the carbs or the fuel feed to them. Or it could possibly be a problem with the fuel pump not pumping hard enough. But check the obvious things first - fuel filter not blocked, petrol tap not partially closed, that sort of thing.
If you do clean the carb jets out, don't poke them through with wire, squirt carb cleaner solvent though using the straw.
