BC travel

ok this is just to find out who,s traveling when & at what time
fred & i will drop the mutt off at the kennels at 10am friday & was thinking of leaving about midday from hucknall nottingham
stop some where for a drink cus of fred / fag break any 1 want to link up we can move our time if needed

Mike, Chris (Prime) and myself will be travelling down from Oldham around 12ish and meeting up with Kev (Cheshirecat) and  Chris (Greencat) at J & S in Northwich at 1ish for a leisurely wander to BC (the long way round I think to take in a few roads on the way), anyone wishing to join us is also more than welcome.

We won't be leaving till mid/late afternoon so will be after you Pete.

nothing finalised yet, we're maybe considering meeting up with kev, but its considerably out of our way....might be up for riding down with you and fred , pete. which route you taking ??

I'll be leaving South Oxfordshire around 3-ish.

We came back from Shropshire after the Recce last weekend, A53 A50 Cheadle, Ashbourne (gorgeous road) and that way.

The A38/M54 is so boring.

Just to add, will probably go Abingdon - Witney - Gloucester - Leominster - Ludlow - BC. Not the most interesting route but quick and motorway-free.

No beeshops cassel this yeer as i am taking rose to watch for some big ride on island of men..she like men and to ride so i am happy to her..

Rose did have big problem with flaps open on thudercat but i tell her keep legs together and we get some new one to make shiney..she always have bit falling off!!!

For anyone wishing to meet up at J&S, I've put a route together which will get us to Bc for 16:00 (ish), meeting at J&S 12:30 and leaving by 13:00, via Ponderosa (Horseshoe Pass)

I'm hopefully meeting with Dave (mr Nutt) and the others like last year. Haven't organised anything yet. So wherever time they get there, I'll get there lol

As I don't know my way up to B.c I'm wondering who's traveling from darn sarf to up norfish and meeting in Gloucester like last year. I'd rather do the extra 70 miles and meet peeps on the way than do 100 miles lost.

I've messaged Dave (mr Nutt) and no reply as yet. Don't really want to buy a sat nav as it'll be in my way too lol.

5 days to go and still don't know how I'm getting my suitcase there yet haha. Getting exciting now isn't it

The plan is for the darn sarf possie to do the same route as last year. Everyone's waiting on me for timings. I think I have traced the route into the satnav software , I just need to put in the stops to meet everyone. Also I have to stop every hour to 90 mins for Pam. That part I still have to do and at the rate I'm going I don't think I'll be getting a chance whilst away, so might only get to do it on Thursday when I get home.

If folk can post their meeting point, I'll add it in.

looks like ive got to pick daughter up from uni Friday morning now, and fetch her home before we can set off, ( a. saves her fuel money running back and forth to her mates 18th, and b. means I don't have to worry about her riding home hungover on the sunday)
so looks like the Cheshire meet up is out for us....
could probably still meet you and fred if you have the bike back pete ?
