Bishops Castle 6 -master list.

First topic message reminder :

Can I ask peeps to take a look at the marker drop off system to familiarise themselves with it please, the link can be found at the top of the BC6 thread.
As we are a large group we will be again using the two marker & two tail end Charlie variation.
I need to reiterate again that each rider is responsible for themselves & is to ride at their own risk & within the law. The organiser cannot be held responsible for each individual.

Bishops Castle Six is scheduled to be held over the weekend of Friday 6th & Sat 7th June 2014 (to coincide with the Isle of Man TT which the Boars kindly record for us to watch on the large screen TV) with the rideout on the Saturday heading onto the Welsh Tarmac that has become customary.
The Boars Head (Pink Palace) will again be our destination for the Friday evening meal & drinks, Saturday night to be confirmed as yet but I will be trying to book the Three Tuns again as Tim & his staff have done a superb job over previous years.

Below is a list of the majority of the accommodation available along with the usual Camping/ Bunkhouse/ Caravan & Eco Cabin at the Foxholes camp site, Also new for next year are Wooden camping pods at the Kings Head pub in the centre of BC although I believe only two of the five pods are still available.

I don't need to know any specific numbers of attendees at this stage but would recommend booking up B&B places sooner rather than later due to demand, many places require no deposit to confirm your place in the town centre.

Sounds good to me - have put it in the diary. Not sure about staying over - depends on where I'll be living at the time (probably in a cardboard box somewhere on the M5 - if I'm lucky!)

Just spoken to Bob, he reckons that brother Pete will be fit and ready to ride by then, Christian will be back from his trek down to South Africa and yours truly will defo be there, so that's at least 4 of us. Will speak to Chicken Tim as soon as my war dept. gets of the phone, which could be tomorrow.

Please can you put me down for a pint on friday evening and me and vikki for the meal and saturday evening. Thanks.

Its only 20 weeks folks..... 

Ooh 20 weeks till the sunshine comes out too. Cannot wait for Bc6

Went for a ride today to the Tintern and it was bloody freezing lol

I've been itching to get the bike out but it's salty here and It's too cold to spend ages washing it.

Will have to wait a bit longer!

I'll be plus 1 this year, friend of mine is coming down also, still hoping for Eco cabin if Steve doesn't mind, failing that, bunk house, camping, throw a sheet over me.

I'm up for eco-cabin again, if not I'll be camping also, seing as my gf bought me some camping stuff for Xmas, it'll be rude not too!

Can't wait!

I'll get onto to making sure we can secure the cabin again this year. Seemed to be a hit last year.

Hi Guys, I'm in for bc6 for sure, would like to be posh in the eco cabin but I'll camp if need be!!!

May I suggest if anyone brings a +1 could you ask them to read the post about the marking system we use? So they're ofay before they arrive? Or send them the link?

Boars Head accommodation is now fully booked with myself, Radar & Kwakkat taking each room, plenty of other B&B's still available at varying costs, however as usual I would recommend booking up well in advance due to limited bed spaces within walking distance of the eateries.

i,d like to volunteer to be a back marker this year so that it frees up steve & pete who always seam to get the job

I don't mind doing a bit of TEC either, so Pete can at least have a little blast that way!
