Bishops Castle 6 -master list.

First topic message reminder :

Can I ask peeps to take a look at the marker drop off system to familiarise themselves with it please, the link can be found at the top of the BC6 thread.
As we are a large group we will be again using the two marker & two tail end Charlie variation.
I need to reiterate again that each rider is responsible for themselves & is to ride at their own risk & within the law. The organiser cannot be held responsible for each individual.

Bishops Castle Six is scheduled to be held over the weekend of Friday 6th & Sat 7th June 2014 (to coincide with the Isle of Man TT which the Boars kindly record for us to watch on the large screen TV) with the rideout on the Saturday heading onto the Welsh Tarmac that has become customary.
The Boars Head (Pink Palace) will again be our destination for the Friday evening meal & drinks, Saturday night to be confirmed as yet but I will be trying to book the Three Tuns again as Tim & his staff have done a superb job over previous years.

Below is a list of the majority of the accommodation available along with the usual Camping/ Bunkhouse/ Caravan & Eco Cabin at the Foxholes camp site, Also new for next year are Wooden camping pods at the Kings Head pub in the centre of BC although I believe only two of the five pods are still available.

I don't need to know any specific numbers of attendees at this stage but would recommend booking up B&B places sooner rather than later due to demand, many places require no deposit to confirm your place in the town centre.

Looks like its gonna be wet and warm...

  

Being on my best behaviour to request no rain...

Will do the usual dance/prayer/whatever it takes to drive the rain away, hoping it'll be cracking the flags as usual, don't want to dig the waterproofs out if I can help it!!

Long range forecast has changed again for bc6. Now warm and cloudy. Gonna be watching it leading up to saturday next week.

I can live with that better visibility

Hopefully be nice. I cant fit a feather under my seat let alone waterproof.

Balls to it decision made, leathers it is, if it rains I get wet, if it doesn't lucky us, less than 24 hours now til we're all in the Boars Head havin a beer and a catch up, can't wait to meet up with friends old and new for a right good thrash around Wales etc, I'm pretty sure Nick & Ellie will have found us some damn good roads. Whatever the weather I'm sure we will all pull together to make the best of it.

What a hectic weekend!
That was superb & I can't thank enough those who attend & make it so special,
Big thanks to Ellie for helping when I'm up to my eyeballs & struggling to cross the t's & dot the i's, tail end Charlie's Steve, Pam, Tony, Mandy, Alex & the highly amusing Duncan (I hope your hangover wasn't too bad on Sunday morning lol)

Big shout out as always to Darren & Stu (TT recording specialist) at the Pink Palace, Tim & staff at the Tuns who all did a superb job!
I'm always pleased to count all the bikes back in with nothing worse than a little mickey taking, I also have to put my hands together for Steve (SnowCat) for doing the right thing & paying the price for it.
