Taste of Lincolnshire 2013

The Taste of Lincolnshire Rideout 2013 will take place on 7th September 2013



This is the 10th annual Lincolnshire rideout
For 2013 we return to The Village Limits at Woodhall Spa.
Cost is ₤40 pppn B&B.
The accommodation and food are great!

I have reserved 4 twin rooms for the Friday and Saturday nights.

There are more rooms available at The Village Limits and there's B&B, camping and caravan accommodation in Woodhall Spa.

The route has been drafted, but this year will be entirely within Lincolnshire. 
200miles of Lincolnshire's finest roads and quite a few hills! Believe it or not there are some parts we still haven't visited!
We'll also visit some interesting places and invite you to have a real taste of Lincolnshire and sample the local food.


Tastes of Lincolnshire is the marketing campaign for food producers in Lincolnshire. Now, if you do an image search on Google you'll find pictures of food and plenty of pictures of bikes and site members on previous Taste of Lincolnshire rideouts!

Hi folks,
Wee up-date on my stupid accident, and why I shall be unable to see you at ToL this year  

Went to hospital Tuesday. Uncle Doc said I did a right proper job on the thumb, with the accident at home.
Not only is it broken (in more than one place), but also dislocated at the root joint.

So it was surgery on Wednesday for me, for the following . . .
a) Re-set the bones
b) Re-locate the thumb back in it's socket (it's not really a socket, but the easiest way to describe it).
c) Pin it all in place

Woke up in recovery - left hand in a pot - to be told I was now on an over-nighter, due to the nature of the Op, and for observations. Every 30 minutes . . . through-out the bloody night too  
On some fairly powerful pain relief meds, including OraMorph  

Looks like I'm going to be non road worthy for a while  possibly for the rest of this year  

Hope the ToL weekend goes well and you all have great fun.

Speedy recovery Tel. Hope you all have a blast. The Panigale is still at  getting serviced and hopefully the front wheel repaired or I might a just made it.

Dry looking forecast for tomorrow folks :-)

Well we've had a light shower here this morning and now it's brightening up and the roads are drying out. Nothing like what was forecast.

Let's hope it continues like this
