ToL Sign-Up, Questions etc

First topic message reminder :

If you're thinking of coming along on the ToL 6, and especially if you've made definite arrangements, then please add a reply to this topic with a few brief details so I can co-ordinate numbers. Then I'll know approximately what size group we'll have and can sort out appropriate lunch stops etc.

I'll periodically post up a summary of responses to date.

You can also post any questions you have about the event and I'll do my best to answer them.

OK Suzie, here's where you get to show just how committed you are! In the psychiatric sense of course

Just me and Sharon, friday and saturday night. We'll just head home on the sunday.
Suzuki Dave is in Turkey that weekend so I did'nt ask the rest as I was relying on him to help me keep them in check, as they can't keep their front wheels on the ground or use knives and forks !
So just me and Shaz fri. and sat.

Just wondered - in view of the fact we seem to be down to the 2 rooms in the b&b next to the Cross Keys as far as accommodation goes - are we still planning on going there for grub on the saturday night and organising transport to whereever people are staying or are we likely to be eating elsewhere (ie brigg) just so i can find somewhere as near as possible to sleep!!!

There's been plenty of chat about accommodation recently so I've reviewed and updated the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Check this out if you are looking for somewhere to stay.
I believe all the details are current, but haven't checked out each place.

The Cross Keys Pub will be the venue on the Saturday night.
This will be the same for Friday night, but I could change this depending on where everyone is staying to minimise travelling. Let's wait until nearer the time to decide this.

The ride-out on the Sunday will depend on where everyone is heading after Saturday. It will not be a full day. I appreciate people need to get home, so I'll choose a route that suits the majority who want to take part and end up somewhere suitable for lunch. Details will be posted a few weeks before the rideout. I'll use the sign-up summary to make the final decision, so remember to post up details of where you'll be going back to.

Hi all

Well looks as though I have a pass for this one so signing up, just hope work does not do its worst but unlikely. Anticipate I would come across for the Friday nite, do the Saturday run poss the Sunday and will book/sort accomodation out for Friday and saturday nites.
was good to meet a few folk on the run across to seaways the other month and as I am really only just across the Humber then not a lot of excuse for not making the TOL. If anyone sees the summer anywhere give me a shout its consisted of one decent bank hol weekend so far, booooooooooooo.

I'm in for both days. Will find a B&B for the Sat night but will ride down on Sat morning for the first one. Looking forward to meeting some of you crazy kids!

Just booked a room at Arties Mill for the weekend so thats me n bea a positive for the ToL.

Will be going straight to accomm on Fri night tho due to late finish at work. Might pop me head into x-keys on me way passed to say hi if time allows.

Yes we'll be there in the caravan, down in Caistor which is just 3 miles away.

Will be coming back from the coast on the friday from the family holiday, baring in mind that i've got to drop the van off and then go fetch the bike on the friday. Great fun on the Sunday though as i've got to go back and swap vehicles, considering that its 50 miles either way from home.

Will be in the pub with you lot on the fri and sat evening.

Think Topcatbones is still coming and staying with us in his 'private room'.

Well im down to the friday evening and the sat evening ,might be able to meet up somewhere on route ,but will see, have been trying to scrounge a bike but to no avail,,the gixer is now gone to new home and my friend has retired from bikes.
hope to see as many as possible on the evening do's but will miss the 'day trippers'.
