Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Ive had to put bloody Supreme Unleaded in my car today for work because of the muppets that are panick buying fuel and there's no normal unleaded left.
Ridiculous! And as much as I'd rather be sunning myself at home, I've had to go to work. Please England, return to normal! Lol.

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Same here, had to fill my hire bike this morning so I could get to work, took 30 minutes and the floor was slippery as hell from all the peeps over filling their diesel 4x4s... not happy!

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Couldn't work out why all the queues at some petrol stations - especially as it seemed to be the ones with the highest prices.
Some had taken to parking in the road with hazards on waiting for the fuel tanker to complete its dump (or should that be drop ), traffic jam was horrendous.
Completely ruined my intended ride-out after work last night - muppets.
Similar happened when it snowed, you'd think every food shop was closing down for ever that day - don't need a riot here to clean shops out, just a rumour [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Did WWIII blasted well break out !
Every bloody fuel station either empty or has queues 30 minutes and masses of cars long !!! and then the impatient queue jumpers . . . . . why ???
What the heck will it be like if/when the tankers DO go on strike and it's not just a rumor
Thought the local fire chief was gonna busta blood vessel on TV over that bloody fool MPs suggestion to fill a jerry can and store it in ya garage
Bloody panic buyers are CAUSING a fuel shortage D'oh

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Petrol and diesel sales up 80% on yesterday, it's a joke, it's the same at Christmas, the supermarkets are shut for two days and people fill 2 and sometimes 3 trolleys full of food as if we're at war, sometimes Joe Public needs a good slap. The news channels as well make a mountain out of a molehill to dramatise and sell ratings but this just panics the public even more.
Turn off you televisions and radios for a couple of days and it'll all go away.

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
Be weary of the forecourts though guys 'n' gals, numpties are overfilling their vehicles and it's slippery as hell. Almost dropped the hire bike when I slipped in a puddle of the stuff!

That's what I've done, but hard to miss the queues on the road, so glad I walk to and from work! Only on the bike today because I'm off to see a presentation / talk by Lois Pryce.

That OK as long as you don't pass any garages on the way - that was my plan last night but with people blocking the road it was difficult to get through even on a bike.
I'm rather glad I filled up last weekend, price seems a bargain now.

No panic in Strathclyde either.
We don't do stress any more, it's bad for thealcoholism heart.
If you can't make it to work through no fault of your own, why worry?

Re: Fuel!! Grrrrr!
I filled up the bike on Tuesday. No issues then.
I assume everyone is getting in there before the weekend. Hopefully it will sort itself out before next (long) weekend and Wee Mac.
Mind you by next week there will probably be snow on the ground as well!
