New Member in Scotland - Restoring an ‘03 Purpleish
Evening.
I recently joined purely because of Nigel’s post here: https://www.yamaha-thundercats.org/t6758p75-some-tlc-for-thundercat?fbclid=IwAR3RWdoPysSghj6oc_Zw-Ms6O-L0_jfHNnAI2hl_H-7A-KAQp4v6nAmjS84
I bought my cat around 2008 with around 12k miles. It’s now got 24k on it and, as of today, Project Pretty Pussy got serious.
I’ll find another part of the forum for a project thread with all the juicy details and while I don’t expect to achieve what Nigel achieved I’m aiming to get as close as time, budget and expertise allow.
Hopefully two pics appear below of my bike. There’s a tragic sentimentality which I’ll get into in the project thread. Safe to say I’ll never sell this thing.

Looking forward to seeing your results. At least you have a nice dry and warm area to work in.
That will probably be here..."Thundercats".
