Post  Disky Sun Mar 30 2014, 16:10

Hi folks, just thought id post in here and introduce myself.

My names Ray and im an Advanced Driving Instructor up here in baltic Scotland Wink

Just bought my first Cat, its a 99 model Red/Black/White, going in next week for fork seals and a service Smile

Used to ride a 2000 Fazer SP, so i like my yamaha's, this one just has a tiny bit more tuning that the SP, and it doesnt have the 2nd gear issue (yet) lol

Hope to get it cleaned up a bit and get the fairings painted the correct colours as its had minor damage as the girl dropped it against her car and BF tried to paint it,, would have got a better match with Dulux ...........

Hi Ray

Welcome to the clan.
Wee Mac will be upon us shortly if you fancy a wee run with us.
Have a look in the Something for the weekend section.
We might be taking in bits of the central belt.

Cheers

Hi Disky,

Welcome to the site.
Hope you get the 'cat up to standard soon and can get out and enjoy this nice weather  sunny
Bit hazy here, but the air was full of the sound of bikes racing through the countryside today  green smile

There are a few site members in your area so hopefully you can make a meet sometime. If you want a really good blast then I guess it'll have to be one of the ride-outs.  wink thumb up

Enjoy the bike and let us know what you think of her.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Ray,

Welcome to the forum, loads of information about the 'cat on here, you've picked a great bike.

I hope the weather north of the borders kind to you this year.

There are two great rideouts up your way, Wee Mac & Big Mac, worth a punt and a cracking bunch of people to ride/drink with(not at the same time though!  Pepsi !)

Take care buddy.
