Re: Hey Biker friends
Help ma boab.
Welcome to the site Boaby.
As DBD said get yair airse signed up for the Mac's in your back yard.
I'm not too far away in sunny Shotts.
What colour scheme are you.....I'll keep my eyes peeled for you
Roads have started to being gritted out our way tonight.....boo hoo.
I pretty much only do pleasure riding but hopefully manage at least one more 'dry' weekend run before the snow sets in.
Cheers
Rosco

Hi Boaby,
Welcome to the site.
How long have you had the 'cat and we need to know the colour - as a basis for our Thundercat prejudices and so we can classify you!
'Sunny' Shotts! lmfao Rosco will be lucky to spot you filtering until next spring - when the bunnies come out!
(Don't worry you'll soon pickup all these cryptic references)
I'm sure I saw the gritters out here last night too
Ride safely,
Chris

thanks for the warm welcome.
The bike colour scheme is black at top , silver centre and gold at bottom with gold front mudguard, it has a double bubble black screen to blend in with the black at top of the bike and an ART gold silencer that is an uncanny colour match for the bottom end of the bike. ive just had fitted new bridgestone bt021 tyres for the mot and think they are great .
ive got a spare clear screen and original silencer in great condition in my shed if anyone needs them as the ART can fitted is not obnoxiously loud and was not a problem for the mot.
ive only had the bike a few months and love it compared to my first big bike (naked bandit 600 mark1) as ive done a few long weekends runs around ireland and the north of scotland since passing my test 18 months ago. now all the touring is much easier with more powerful smoother engine and protection from the elements via fairing and comfy riding position and in my opinion great handling.
the guy i bought it off of said it was an import which may explain the rare colour and the speedo has a sticker on it saying mph covering the kph suggesting the speedo drive ratio has been converted to uk spec, but the insurance company done a check with the reg and never insured it as an import
im definetly going to go now to check the mac ride outs and see how to put my name down .
more about me ive just turned 30 im a service engineer working my 40 hour week and use the bike weather permitting at weekends on my own or with a couple of friends to free the stress of the week and also use it to go to college at nights twice a week before the gritters start laying .
ill get to know some of you better as i do some more posts as it looks like im keeping the cat for a while and cant wait to the winter is over. ill get a pic of my bike on soon and feel free to ask me any questions im an approachable guy.
catch you guys later.
