First topic message reminder :

Just a placemarker for the moment folks, get the dates in your diary. A little earlier this year as we have a wedding to attend the following weekend.

Fri 15th - Meet, eat, drink & laugh.
Sat 16th - Main rideout (Dales/Moors/Lakes).
Sun 17th - Head home.

Good news and bad. Good first, John Armitage is now joining us, you might remember that he was coming last year before the French police parted him from his motorcycle along with 750 euros. He has sorted out his own accom. Bad news is that Bob Richardson has had to cry off, so if anyone would like to take over his room at The Golden Lion please shout out asap.

We've cancelled our Barcelona trip so I might be able to come now. What are the dates again Terry? Did you change it to the 8th/9th?

Main rideout on Sat 16th but there will be a smaller ride out on the Friday, same as last year probably over to Whitby for a fish and chip lunch.

Not long now until Surf & Turf so Ian & I though we'd get the party really going and join in. We have booked the Dales Haven, same as last year, arriving on the Thursday evening so we can do the Whitby run with you guys on Friday. Loved the roads in and around Yorkshire so really looking forward to doing it all again.

Great to have you and Ian join us again Jill, not sure just yet who will be on the Whitby run, but at least 4 of us. Same as last year Ross, you're sharing a room with Paul (yamahamad) we didn't pay any deposits last year, and I haven't been asked for any this year. By the way, wizzed past Shotts again last evening, but as usual tight schedule, running on tacho and running out of time. Cheers the noo.

Hi all.
, Less than a fortnight to go now before S&T, was out with the Fylde coast boys yesterday and they are up for the Friday rideout to Whitby. I suggested a 10.00 pm start from the Golden Lion, and that was acceptable, is that OK for Jill, Ian, John Armatage and any one else that fancies it? Friday evening a meal at the Golden Lion or any where else if any one has any suggestions. On the Saturday night the Indian across the road from the G/L was pretty good last year, albeit a little slow on service, would the attendee's like me to book again for this year?

Im aiming to arrive late afternoon on friday in time to grab a beer or two before eating, i remember the food was good on friday at gl so its good for me.

The indian was poor service last year but the food was good as i recall so if everyone is ok with there its good for me.

For Friday's rideout, I'd prefer if we could meet you guys at 10am as my bike's headlights are really crap at night Laughing

Really looking forward to heading over to Whitby again.

GL for Friday sounds good to us but the Indian was more than a tad slow last year. I think the food was ok when it came but we did wait a couple of hours for it. I think you guys at the other table had finished yours before ours arrived. Happy to go there again if we could make sure they are a bit quicker.

Well, Ian and I got home late afternoon. We took a leisurely route and the only rain we had was during our lunch stop. Not bad at all.

Thanks once again Terry for putting together another great weekend. We both had a really good time despite being two up, I'm sure I'll be back on my own bike soon.
