back after long absence
not been on site for nearly three years i'm surprised to see! My eldest son jack passed his direct access so I let him have use of my bike (600 hornet). He promptly traded it in for a 600 ninja! cheeky sod, no way I wanted that back which is what he was obviously banking on! He's paying me £100 a month till its paid for.
so I've been bikeless until last weekend when I bought a Yamaha FZ1. The upside is I will now be able to get on the road with Jack, he's in the paras so it will only be now and then but something to look foreward too.
I've always told him about the thundercat rideouts so he would like to get on one with me, probably later in the year as me and sharon now have a place in Greece which we get too as much as possible and have already booked flights. I'm thinking maybe Chris' TOL.
would be nice to catch up with some old faces and meet some new ones. Got some renewed enthusiasm back for biking with the new bike! Hope everyones well, had some brilliant times with the thundercats starting off in Lancaster back in the early noughtys and met some great people. Just re-read the tribute to Gail and looked at the pics.......brought a tear to my eye.
still trucking for a living. been eventful time with my mum dying and a bad accident at work climbing in the back of a trailer and an overhanging piece of angle iron split my head open like a ripe tomato! cracking scar though!
Best wishes and maybe see some of you later in the year,
Steve...............

Re: back after long absence
Hi Steve, glad you logged back in and onto two wheels - great feelng. Not so good about your work accident though.
Hopefully you'll be able to make a ride-out or so this year. I had a look back on my pics and you were at my first ToL in 2007, where's the time gone!
