new bike coming
First topic message reminder :
Didn't really know where to post this, so took the plunge and posted it here. Got quite a good price for the Honda CBF1000 GT, so its gone, ordered a new machine for delivery next Feb. Chris Eddie and a couple of others know what it is, but might surprise a few more when they see it.

Re: new bike coming
Half fancied one of them 1200 GS thingies, but way too tall for this little fella, are you sure they do one with a 760mm seat?

Re: new bike coming
Mm interesting, perhaps a tad to heavy for me in the twilight of my youth, that and the height is why I disposed of my FJR, wish I was taller, slimmer and younger and I would still be astride my beloved FJR. Bike of the century for me.

Re: new bike coming
I'm sure you'd still show us all a clean pair of heals on anything Tez, - even a mini moto
Re: new bike coming
One of these with a low seat option - it's got a shaft drive, pretty certain that will be a prerequisite.

Re: new bike coming
Right, so my nose is heading shaft drive, maybe Hinckley, maybe Munich, maybe elsewhere ....
Doubt it's Yamaha's way, Honda - umm maybe, but probably not. Liked the Tracer for a few minutes, right but not quite ...
I wasn't going to play this game, but one more stab at pinning the tail on the donkey
The 800cc version of this
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Being a Leicester lad, I'd pin my hopes on Hinckley being the winner

Re: new bike coming
Didn't know they did a 800 version with shaft drive, but anyway it isn't a Triumph. Good try though.

Re: new bike coming
I know it's not shaft driven, but, well I suppose it's worth a punt
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
No idea if there's a factory option for the Tez Von Shorthausens of this world though

Re: new bike coming
It might have been an option, with a low seat, really like the spec tho. But shaft drive is an imperative you are so hot you're almost on fire. come on Tel you're almost there.
