Wee Mac Arrangements
DBD and myself did a BIG shop online a few evenings ago and spent over £400 on grub & beverages.
We think we've got routes sorted now too. Just waiting for some confirmations and then I'll send the route info (hopefully later tonight / early tomorrow) to those signed up and anyone interested in joining us on the ride.
Please arrive no earlier than 4:30pm @ Broadmeadows on the Friday although we are getting a BIG delivery between 5 and 6 so it would be good if a few folks could be about by then.
Breakfasts - Full Scottish - Fried everything
Friday - Pizza, Wedges and dips - made as and when folks arrive over the course of the evening
Saturday Italian - Carbonara (Rosco) vs SpagBol (DBD) - Winner doesn't do the dishes.....Actually come to think of it neither should the loser (DBD).
Sunday Curries - Going to pick some volunteers soon
There will be Veggie & Non Veggie options for all meals.
As usual we'll need everyone to muck in when in comes to food preparation, washing up, keeping the place tidy.
Saturday run is approx 220-230 miles.
Sunday run is approx 160-170 with the option to add on 55 miles at the end if anyone wants to.
Cheers
Rosco

It's a bit wet and blowy out.
It's meant to dry out over the afternoon, but the wind is meant to pick up as well.

Re: Wee Mac Arrangements
Update. Day 1 went well. All riders out and all riders back. However. Rosco's bike started spitting bits off on the Friday and eventually gave up the ghost this afternoon!!
Friday his fairing splayed apart!! Fixed with a cunningly placed tie wrap. This morning his front mudguard fell off. Gaffer tape and a second hand bolt sorted that. This afternoon his front sprocket nut did a disappearing act!! Luckily Pete and Furballs Davie sorted the ride to Billy W 's house by tightening the chain so much that the sprocket stayed on without the nut. Big shout out to Billy W and his long suffering missus Karen whose birthday it was today!! (Happy birthday Karen Flowers are on the way) got to Billy's house where tea and coffee was on demand. And choccy biccies!! Billy W has lent Rosco his bike for the rest of wee mac so we can continue our shenanigans. Cheers Billy. Whisky shall be delivered along with your bike back. You saved Rosco's weekend!!
Chris Eddie's FJR started leaking coolant but that has been temporarily sorted with a trip to halfords. Great run today and plenty booze has been sunk. I managed to kick arse at Rosco's poker dice game so off to bed feeling a bit smug.....................to be continued.......

Re: Wee Mac Arrangements
Billy W - you are an absolute STAR!
Thanks for saving my weekend.
I owe you one.
I've been very gentle with your bike.
You'll be glad to know it is very nearly as fast as a GSXR-1000.
The front tyre is now run in and I'll deliver it back to you safe and sound tomorrow.
Cheers
Ross

Last time I washed a bike it started falling to bits.
Not be doing that again anytime soon.
