Yorkshire_Thundercat ~ Tragic Loss of a Site Member ~
I have just had the saddest news given to me from Sarah - Nick Moore's wife aka Yorkshire Thundercat. Nick died in a bike accident in France on Saturday afternoon. She didn't know how to get hold of anyone to tell them.
I will miss him very much - he always knew how to make me laugh and he was a good friend to me. My heart goes out to his wife and family all of whom he was very proud.

Oh Suzie, I don't know what to say - I'm absolutely devastated by this news - Nick was a great friend to both of us and I will miss his humour and company greatly. He was a fantastic guy, and will be sorely missed.

Although I never met Nick he is still "family".
A biker and fellow Thundercat rider meant that Nick was part of this big family.
My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
He will be missed.

Gulp! Really shocked to hear this news.
Can't imagine what his family are going through.
Suzie, thanks for being the contact on this and passing on all the condolences - mine too, if a little belated.
I don't know if this group has had to deal with this before, so I'm not sure what to do.
Do folks think there's anything we should/can do?
How would the family feel?
Perhaps a donation to a suitable charity?
Maybe this is a discussion we can have off this thread?
Chris

Sad news
Never met him, but was looking forward to doing so this year as I am also based in Yorkshire.
Just underlines the dangers of what we do
What else can you say.

Sad Sad News
I never got to meet Nick but as others have said he was very much part of this family of fellow minded people and will be missed by many.
I understood he was signed up for Bishops Castle.........I'm sure he would want everyone at the Bishops Castle meet to have and enjoyable and safe ride-out.
