Re: Weather forecast
I was up early yesterday, not a cloud in the sky - got scared and went back to bed (didn't have to wait long to cloud over)
The glorious weather encouraged more than few octogenarians onto the road, most doing half the speed limit - then throw in a few impatient drivers resulting in some 'interesting' road conditions.
Being the bright spark that I am, decide to take the long route to Ryka's. Brilliant, no cars - this is fun ... aah yes got to turn left down a lane 'just now'.
As I approach, there are some road workmen, one sees me and waves his arms (think it meant 'no left turn mate'). Just as well, they had just covered the road with stone. Immediately think of Ezzy's Mum, this diverts from my aversion to loose road surfaces.

Re: Weather forecast
I managed to get a run in Sunday, left the house at 7pm and did 90miles up via Aberfoyle then off to Stirling then back to Glasgow. Roads were empty that time and it got a tad chilly.

Re: Weather forecast
I did a cheeky little run to Sherburn and messed around out Selby way. It had rained everywhere but I avoided every drop bar spray on the road. So filthy bike.....
