Re: long range weather forecast
My view is that the weathermen, scarcely get it right for the following day, never mind the next month.

Re: long range weather forecast
^^^ QFT.
It's probably one of the most difficult problems we've ever tried to solve.
The worlds Number 1 and Number 3 supercomputers both do climate research and it still isn't enough.
From a local perspective:
More heat = more moisture and energy in the weather systems = more rain in summer and more snow in winter for the likes of us.

THE DAILY EXPRESS! They are confident that June and July will be scorchers.
er did I missed summat, they are late we got it all last April all one week of it.
our barometer tells me a better forecast than those over paid swonks.

Dont care as long as I can get to the Airport in Feb and I get a few days off work, and it can do what it likes anyways seen as I have no bike at the moment.
On a lighter note its only 93 days to Christmas .....[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I bought a fan last year, this year I managed to use it once...for about three hours.

The red hot days we've had this year have been while I've been at work...

Re: long range weather forecast
I knew I shouldn't have joked around Easter time that was summer over with.
Mind you my weather prediction wasn't that good either, I thought it was going to be really wet so went and bought what's claimed to be excellent wet weather tyres ... they didn't get very wet.
Maybe I was just in the wrong places.

Re: long range weather forecast
Well it's as hot as it gets in summer- think we're in for 29 or 30 today. Odd feeling though, being warm and dark in the evenings - reminds me of a past life
