Bike wont fire up
Right, need help...Took the blade to bits before i went away to work last trip....came home 4 weeks later and built everything back up...have checked and re-checked all the electrical wiring is back as it was, refitted the tank and fuelled it up..
Bike is turning over but won't fire up....at the bottom of the tank there is a banjo fitting for the main fuel line to the injectors...Cant remember what way round it was pointing as its a right angle fitting...have it pointing so the hose doesn't kink when the tank is in place...am i right in thinking the holes on the clip and the hole in the bolt shouldn't need to line up??
i'm pretty sure its fuel related as the bike was running ok before i took it to bits..
Have cracked the other end of the tank hose at the injector rail and there is fuel coming out...next stop is the plugs i guess...major work up as i've just put it all back together

Re: Bike wont fire up
Update:
Getting fuel at the rail, looks like injectors maybe gummed up or not firing?? dropping fuel into the throttle body manually and it tries to go....

Re: Bike wont fire up
aye Davie,
i did check the obvious, will check the injectors tomorrow to see if they're firing or just gummed up...hope it's not the ECU..
When i was digging around before i found a connector from the regulator which had just about completely burnt out so i rejointed the wiring, ill check that again..was hoping this was why the bike was chugging at low revs..
