Reserector from across the pond
My name is Mark. I live in Laurel Mississippi, USA, and have ridden to work in Bay Springs every day since I bought my cat on June 10th. That's five days a week at 65 miles round trip. I have clocked 10,0000 miles from then until now, and have no intentions of letting up. I do have a truck that I can drive if weather gets too hostile.
I recently bought my '03 Yamaha YZF600RR (ThunderCat) as a commuter. At least that is how I explained it to my wife.
I was told about this forum by Oldcat, who visitedhttp://yzf600r-usa.com recently. EDIT: Now at http://YZF600R.com (we dropped the -usa domain) On Tapatalk, search for YZF600R
I own a few forums of my own, in fact. http://mississippi-mud.com and http://southernskater.com , and I invite y'all to check those out if you are into off-road trucks, or roller skating.

You talk as if you don't ride in roller skates.Rosco wrote:Lovin the boots Mark.

As for the color, blue is the official color. Just as Marlboro cigarette packs are red and white. Marlboro lights are some other color... just like the red and black YZFs. They are like...... YZF lights or something.

I struggle to push and pull the right levers at the right time with normal boots on.

Rosco also has trouble pushing the right buttons most of the time ; P
Just looked at the pics again and noticed those wind deflectors you have on the side of the nose cone. Are they home made? Never seen anything like them, great idea

Re: Reserector from across the pond
O.K. I'll admit that the rollerskates was a promo shot for skating site. It was intended to be silly.
The wind deflectors are in a How-To thread on yzf600r-usa.com I will dig up the link when I get a moment. Got to run out the door tight now.

Re: Reserector from across the pond

Re: Reserector from across the pond
Thanks. Here is the thread from the very top.billyw wrote:Hi - think I have found the link here
The wind deflectors have proven to be a favored low cost modification that is easily removed for when hot weather returns.
