Yaar well that went tits up much to the cheers and gloating of the Welsh I'm sure. Don't you just hate bad winners . . . so unsportsman like, almost kissballish. . . .

Ah well, I wish them well and good fortune against the Fwench Fwoggy Fowiners.

It matters not much whether Ireland or Wales won their ¹/₄ final. As I had already mentioned, I had little confidence that England would have made it to the finals with the tournament performances they had put in. They just went out 1 game earlier than I predicted.

I still think there could be a northern hemesphere upset and Wales could, on their constant performances, go through and win the tournament now instead of Ireland. The French are just to . . . . well, . . . which France will turn up on the day ?

So on that evidence, and my record . . . . . . . Wales had better start packing their bags
