Tyres???
continental maxxis tyres are on my cat.
has any one tried these and whats your opinion, are they good or bad in the dry or wet??,
I never had these on any of the bikes that I've owned.
I don't want to become a cropper should I get a little to excited while out riding

Re: Tyres???
Well they are cheap tyres! They're ok in the dry but not great in the wet...
don't expect to get a lot of miles out of them either.
There was a guy on the BC ride out who had them and he was riding pretty hard on them. (the tyres will always do more than we can)
....he did however end up with a puncture on the front

Re: Tyres???
That was me and only the rear was a new Maxxis, the front was the old tyre.
I now have Maxxis Sport/Tourers front and Rear and am well impressed by them in both the wet and dry (My Cat is my transport too and from work, 20 miles each way).
The only recommendation I can give is that when I need to replace them I will be getting the same.

Re: Tyres???
I run Maxxis om my T Cat. Seem fine in wet and dry. Limited life on the rear, especailly if you run them under pressure as i was dumb enough to do!
