Last ride this week busted!
Got a fishing trip planned for the rest of the week so was looking forward to my last ride last night until I did a pre-ride check and found this!
Gutted, a very larg nail in the tyre at a very shallow angle!!

See you all when I get back Friday - Don't expect the Blackberry will pick up on the bankside.

Re: Last ride this week busted!
Hi, back from fishing.
Had to have a new tyre due to the shallow angle that it had gone in, they were very coscerned that it had severed some of the strands in the tyre. Personally I would rather be safe than sorry.

Re: Last ride this week busted!
Should have said that the fishing was very eventful.
The wind Thursday got hold of my Brolli and threw it throu the door of the bivvy trying to impale me, managed to get a hand to it and now have a couple of bruised ribs. I also fell in while casting bait out at 2 in the morning and now have 5 butterfly stitches on a finger as I ripped the knuckle open on a metal pole trying to stop myself - can barely get my glove on and being on my right hand I cannot bend it to assist with braking.

Who would have thought fishing could be so dangerous!
I did get some cracking fish (Carp); 38lb 12oz, 29lb 11, 30lb and a 25lb. I did miss a few but that's the way it goes.

For the record, this is my largest catch, a 150lb Bull Shark in Florida.
