Southern Ride Out Poll
Riders in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berks, Surrey, West & East Sussex and Kent
First topic message reminder :
Looking at the possibility of a meet up and optionally a group ride. The invitation isn't limited to the South East and everyone is welcome.
To gauge interest could you post if you'd like to do this and what day of the week (am/pm or both) would suit.
If your location isn't in your profile, if you could indicate roughly where you are.

Loomies, you loonie
Well I think we are all accounted for, looks like three bikes (confirmed) and a lot of fun.
Meet at 10am. The cafè is a Biker Burger Bar and hot drinks are served in mugs somewhat reminiscent of Devil's Bridge, petrol station next door if required.
Will be stopping for fag/p/stretch at 60-90 min intervals.
Just hope the rain doesn't mean a lot of mud and gravel on some of the roads.
Anyone else? There were a few maybes, you in?

No problem if you'd like to have breakfast there. I'll probably do the stupid thing and have a mug of coffee.
I don't think this is needed, but I'll get it out of the way anyway. This isn't a 'club' or Thundercat website organised ride. I've merely used these pages to invite people of similar interest to meet up for a ride. We are all responsible for our own ride/license.

Yip , we're going here. You might prefer to scroll to the top of the page though and read the more positive sides to the spot.
Apologies if the disclaimer has caused any alarm I had been agonising over if I should or shouldn't have posted it. I'm not sure it makes an iota difference legally it being there anyway.

Re: Riders in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berks, Surrey, West & East Sussex and Kent
Confession time Steve.
I found the cause of my suspension not working well. When I set every setting back to Zero ready to default it back to Factory, the rebound on the rear appears to have got missed and was still at Zero - The Hardest - Der!!
Made some further adjustments (Front preload to 4 and rear preload to 2) and had a fantastic short ride yesterday. Front is not bottoming out and the rear actually feels like it is working the bumps.
I can only imagine how much more fun I would have had if the suspension had been setup up like this on Saturday.
Hope this does not earn me a numpty point.
John.

Numpty points can only be awarded if seconded ( which can be easily arranged )
I reckon your punishment should be another trip down and ride the route again Well at least the suspension testing circuit at Beachy Head and a squirt up to and then through the tunnel at Lewes
Glad you have gotten to the bottom of the problem

I like it when it's simple solutions. I would look forward to another ride like that but must say I am finding it hard to grip a pen at the mo!
With regard to the indicator problem, the dealer is going to fix under warranty and in that case I may get a courtesy bike, a Triumph Sprint ST in Red (bugger, being in Red will please Ezzy's Mum!).
