Side stand
Is it just me but the side stand to the Cat appears to be quite long or should i say keeps the bike quite upright all the other bikes i have has leaned quite far over and more stable or is there a way to ajust this or am i worrying for no reason?

Re: Side stand
I beg to differ Pete. I think they vary, or more likely, some have been bent or straightened.
The side stand on my 'cat, when I had it, did make the bike sit more up-right than other 'cats. So much so that when the group parked up for a cuppa in Hawes once, all other 'cats were fine on the slightly sloping ground, but mine teetered and had to be moved elsewhere.
You need to be aware when parking up and perhaps do a comparison with some other 'cats.

Re: Side stand
Disaster I was right to worry bike fell over the day when placing a cargo net on the back.
Bent indicator - Bent it back all okay
Indicators stopped working - Popped off the fairing and reconnected the wires
Slight scuff on the right fairing - Gave it a bit of T-Cut seems okay just need to do it again the morrow to get it back down
Crash bobbins scraped - but hey that's what they are for.
The crank case cover gave a little scrape but I can replace that.
Indicator scuff underneath - Planning different ones anyway.
All in all came off lightly

Re: Side stand
Can't adjust unless you grind some off or weld some on.
All I can suggest is leaving it in gear, that way at least you know it won't roll forward and off the stand, it can only go sideways. Never had a problem with mine.
