For Sale - Used Rear Tyre - Michelin Pilot Road 2 160 60 ZR

Hi All

I've just changed to new set of Avon Storm 2 Ultra's and still breaking them in.....but so far so good.

Therefore ...... I've got a Used Rear Tyre - Michelin Pilot Road 2 160 60 ZR 17 (even wear) with a measured 4mm of tread left all over. It is air tight and no flaws in the tyre.

Cheapest I've seen is £125 delivered for a brand new one.

How about a buy it now price of £40 inc P&P to UK address's.
First to post up (and then pay me) wins and I'll post it off as soon as I can.

Alternatively PM me an offer and I'll make a decision this Sunday.

I picked my 'cat up from Bristol yesterday and must have run over a bed of nails, looking at the state of the tyre. Scariest thing in my life, the handling went strange and I didn't have a clue what had happened!

Anyhow, I'm now after a rear tyre and if yours is good (hasn't been repaired or left standing for months, etc.. etc...) then it would suit me perfectly! How were you hoping to be paid? Now I just need to find someone near Swindon to fit it! (And a paddock stand to borrow while the wheels off). Any Swindon guys/gals on here who could point somewhere useful?

The tyre hasn't been repaired and it in good nick and has stayed airtight since September last year. It was bought about a year ago before I went to Spain so it has done at least a thousand bends.

My bike is garaged too.

Cheque or bank to bank transfer if you want it quicker.

I'm away just now so earliest I could get it organised would be for a despatch on friday for delivery (possibly mon or Tuesday)

Ok. No massive rush but the quicker I get it the quicker I can test the Thundercat Still cr@pping myself going round silly little corners on the cb-1 though after the weekend :(

Cheers, that may be a plan. Once I've got the tyre I'll get in touch if I don't get any closer offers (I'm guessing I'd have to drive... too big to carry in a ruck sack on a bike?).

Hmm i dunno... it definitely comes apart but i can't remember into how many bits. depends on how comfortable you are riding with metal poles strapped to your back!

I'll try to have a look in the next few days but I'd assume it's too big to fit in a rucksack.
