Might need to split this topic into it's own thread!
I don't know about your cooking Fi, but Suzie did admit a few years ago that hers wasn't Michelin (chef not tyre) standard. Seem to recall something about a frozen joint, I think it probably best that I have forgotten the rest of the detail. However I am somewhat intrigued by 'we are going to make something very nice for later'.
Are we allowed to start guessing?
Dom Pedro's?
Scottish Coffee?

Re: BIG MAC VII 2010 - SIGN UP - Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd
We'll have a big breakfast. Cooked by whomever is able.
I'll go and get the beeatch late morning and we can feed the 5000 (ok maybe 11 or 12) when they all turn up.
P.s. I'm jumping out a plane next month for charity so if you enjoy your stay, brekkie, lunch a small donation would be appreciated
Unfortunately I still need to lose half a stone or so before they will let me. I'll still try and squeeze in a "whale" at the fish & chip lunch stop though
cheers

Something's reminded me I've got some packs of 'space food' at the back of the cupboard. You know the freeze dried stuff you take on survival weekends. Well this trip sounds like just what they've been waiting for!
You do have water in Scotland?
Oh, silly me. I'll rehydrate them with whisky
Now I am looking forward to this weekend :whoop:
Martin, Rich - see you at Scotch Corner on Friday. My number zero793zero 4zerozero 468.

Re: BIG MAC VII 2010 - SIGN UP - Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd
Had the boys pop in for tea, coffee and homemade banana loaf.
They told me the sun came out as soon as they passed the welcome to Scotland sign.
John's luggage is obviously not for use in Scotland.
Last time he was here he lost a pannier
this time he was about to leave my house and he noticed he was two bolts down.
Managed to find enough spare parts to get him on his way.
