Re: bit chilly out today
Pete
Well I never thought I'd enjoy a 4 hour ride in the wet. Gave up with the boil in bags, put raincoat on, stop raining - take it off and it starts again!! Leathers got a bit wet, but waxed them last night, so it wasn't that bad. Got to try my new helmet - v nice. Wow what a difference pinlock makes and the Autocom suddenly works far better!! Being able to hear the music properly made me forget it was raining and a tad cold
All roads were very wet for all but a few miles, bike looked disgusting by the time I got home - just to think i got it all clean last week before smothering it in ACF50. Mind you some of that dirt was from yesterday. Plan was to go shopping, but instead of going into the shop I fill up and then head off for a ride. 200yards from the s/market, the heavens open up - sod that I carry on but soon give up after I discover my waterproof boots suddenly aren't
So decided to try again today, at least today there were no gale force gusts.
Complaining, 'ell no that was pretty good. Pity I had to get home

Re: bit chilly out today
Went to get some new tyres on Saturday (Metzeler Z6s I think they are), dry but cold all the way there. Happy days! Typical though, riding back in jeans and a jacket and on brand-spanking-new slippy rubber, it starts blowing a gale and blasting down! bloomin' 'orrible it was.
Got a dry run back from GF's last night though, about 80-odd miles through the cotswolds and worcestershire, tyres now nicely scrubbed and neeeeearly got rid of my chicken strips

The weather was lovely in Lincs yesterday, but didnt venture out, because Id been 'tripping the light fantastic' all weekend and was somewhat 'the worse for wear'.........
Wouldnt want to meet these two on a dark night......
