Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Aloha!
Not quite sure what to put here. I'm Chris, I'm 25, and I'm an... never mind.
Anyway, I'm fairly new to riding - passed my test about 6 months ago - but have already had plenty of adventures, including taking seven Suzuki VanVans to France for a long weekend. Am really looking forward to some similar hi-jinks on my new bike! Just waiting for the shop to put my W-reg 'cat through a new MOT and I'll hopefully be picking her up in the next few days.

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Welcome Chris to the site,
Hope you enjoy your time here . I know you'll enjoy the Cat.
Please don't be shy to join in on thr topics in the forums. It'd be nice maybe to meet up on one of the many runs out and events that are organised and staged through here. We've been known to stage the odd European hop too.
Cheers

PS: You've no idea just how hard it was to avoid the obvious reply using CP3O

Glad you're not making us out to be some kind of rogue squadron..........that would be darth.
Enough Jabba'ring from me..........I'll stop the Bollux now.
Sorry Chris......I just had to.
I'm sure she will be worth the wait......post up a pic when you get her and feel free to have a look around the site and post up any questions you may have.
Cheers

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
It's blue!
I'll post some pics when I get it, but unfortunately it's been delayed. The PDI picked up a tiny hole blowing in the exhaust, so that's needed fixing. Bit annoying, but rather it gets fixed right than bodged and left for me to sort out!

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Really gutted - phoned the shop today, to find out that they've uncovered a massive oil leak in the engine and the bike's not really fit for sale.
Still, I'm not one to stand still - so straight onto t'interwebs, found another one in a decent nearby dealer, got straight in the car and headed off. Long story short, it's now mine! And bonus, it'll match my lid and leathers 'cause it's RED!
Pics as soon as I get the old girl...

Quite bitter sweet for you then. Happy you got it sorted but I feel for you also...
Blue ones are the best ones....

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Nah it's cool. The only frustrating thing is being bikeless for so long. Have missed out on pretty much the whole summer!
And as for blue ones being the best... my first bike was a cute little blue VanVan but my last bike was bright red, so to have another red one is nice. Like I said, it'll match my leathers and lid!
Also, I snatched a quick pic on my phone before I left the shop: http://twitpic.com/jibhk

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Oh no we have started Ellie off again, Red ones are definately not the slowest (maybe not the best colour, that would be the blue/white ones)

Re: Just waiting to pick up my cat!
Well I might be young but I'm not Rossi-Rep hooligan with dreams of racing on the roads - much more likely to have Radio 2 on inside my lid! So maybe if the red ones are slower, I guess it suits me well!
