Hi & welcome, post up some pics of the new cat. Take care when you get it as the roads are cold & slippery at the moment.

Welcome to the forum Gedcat, hope you enjoy it here
You'll not regret the delay in getting a cat.
We don't have any group rides planned Hampshire way, perhaps you could rustle one up and invite peeps to join you
Checkout "Something for the Weekend" to see what's on already this coming season. Maybe you'd like to jump in on one of those . . . you'll be very welcome.
cheers

Hi & Welcome.
Congratulations and well done on a great buy.
Best colour scheme too!
Break her ( and you ) in gently.
Treat her with lots of respect.......well to begin with at least.
We've a few big(ish) organised (well in advance) runs which attract a national and international attendance but ad-hoc local meets are posted here the week or night before too.
Cheers
Rosco

Re: about to pick my cat up , hurry up sunday, cant wait
Hi,
You'll love the cat. I had mine for a year next week and every time I ride him its great.
Just like today, just into work but the refreshing blast of +70mph ish cold air on your face in a morning certainly gets the heart beating. (and the bacon sarnies cold!)
When I get in the office they all look at me as though I'm stoopid!
I suppose its a biker thing.

Re: about to pick my cat up , hurry up sunday, cant wait
ok picked up my cat today instead, roads alittle wet but nothing to bad, and brand new front tyre so had to take it easy, so once one love the riding position, what i have now got used to is keeping the rev's above 6k to get the most out of it, once used to this absolutly love it , i love the pull it has and will easily do 100 in 3rd, does need a good clean though but the sun will be out tommorow so out comes the cleaner, cant wait for the summer trip to silverstone for the gp in june, will put pics on this weekend,
happy riding
