Handles Bars
So in my long standing efforts to restore the old gal she is nearly ready, strangely when I smashed my fingers on the tank for the first time today I have noticed the R/hs handlebar is kinked (its probably salvageable but I don't fancy weakening the bar by warming it up to much to get it to bend back).
Anyone know are the bars clip ons, do they unscrew from the clamp on the top yoke or they specific to the Cat?
As ever your thoughts and ponderings are greatly received, hell you might even get a photo or two of the beautiful old girl when she is done! No promises there though

Re: Handles Bars
Not clip-ons and not worth trying to straighten. Usually plenty on E bay at reasonable prices, or maybe someone on here with a spare.

Re: Handles Bars
They are certainly clipons. Plenty of options to repair or replace.
2nd hand example of full clipon (this one is for a left but you could swap the bar to the other side.

Or new bars for use with existing perches.

Or complete new generic clipons.

Note - I haven't double checked any of these are the correct size, just used as examples of your options. So check and measure before you buy.
Good luck!
