Routes in Germany
Does anyone know any good routes in the Black Forest area. Been once, but it was a flying visit, on the way south and didn't get to check it out properly. Also, what weather did you experience . Am going in three weeks. Cheers

B 500 out of Baden Baden is fantastic, done it on a few occasions, but there are many, many more. Buy Mitchelin maps of the areas you plan to visit. The great routes are highlighted in green.

Re: Routes in Germany
I found out today the B500 now has 70 km/h speed limits, kind of takes the shine off it a bit - fantastic road.

A few years ago, they put a blanket ban on bikes using it at weekends.

Black Forest
Thanks for that. Got Assen at the weekend, so should down to Baden Baden by about Tuesday. I guess it's suck it and see, with the speed limits. Got the maps and sat navs, fingers crossed for the weather. Still wish I had kept the Cat

Re: Routes in Germany
Thanks for that BlueZed. We're going to Assen first, so don't know how long we will have in the Black Forrest area. Hoping for a good few days down there. CheersBlueZed wrote:Hi there,
